My “Spark”
My own relationship with exercise changed dramatically as soon as I became a mom. It’s not at all an exaggeration to say that my daughter JoJo was my “spark” to make my health a priority.
She’s my “why.”

I was laid off from work, at home with 2 under 2, in the middle of a global pandemic and needed to funnel my energy into something meaningful.
That was when I decided I was going to use my experience and knowledge to help other moms.
Then, Moms on Fire Fitness was born.
More behind my “why”
I started my own fitness journey in 2018 after my daughter was born.
Working out as a mom was not at all about getting my body back or looking a certain way. It wasn’t even about fitting into “pre-pregnancy” jeans.
Exercise for me was everything about my mental health at that point.
Taking 30 minutes to myself was non-negotiable and allowed me to de-stress, re-focus, and show up better for my family. It also allowed my confidence to soar during a time when I was so unsure about everything else. Becoming a new mom, and everything that comes with it, turns your world upside down in a way you can’t describe. I once told my friend regarding this transition, “you don’t know, til you know.”
Then in 2020, another “spark” was born - my son, Vinny.

“And one day…
she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears.”
